Berlin nights

Berlin is famous for its long nights and short fused patience, it is the blurry vision of a lots of urban seekers, the muse of the many lost at heart with uprooted souls that cavort in erotic parlors but Berlin is also the city of history of overplayed emotions of uncanny trickstery. Nobody owns this city and the city makes clear it does not own anything to any one. It is like the vegetarian beast that eats you like the fresh ripe plum and spits you out as an indigestible pit. The ghosts are more alive here then its night crawlers and the statues hold their own salons gossiping about stranded tourist staring at their maps to the past.

Tacheles art house, Berlin

There was a big fight over this amazing building that gave artists a venue to go wild and bands to unleash their inner demons. Of course it couldn't last but the memories will. I had the good fortune to be allowed to witness the mayhem and to have my own impressions. One day I got lucky and sneaked in and encountered a crazy Italian artist in the catacombs, the basement that still contained rubbish from the war and he used these materials to create mummy like statues based on a famous grotto to the dead in Sicily. The funny part was that an American film team had also found him and were shooting a really cheesy Vampire movie down there bathing the whole scene in blood red colors with cheap red lamps. Today its stripped down to its façade to become possibly some fancy condo complex that as I assume will be merciless tagged by local graffiti artists.
